So, a few updates.
I passed my thesis defense!
I got into an Avenue size 14 jean.
I binged on candy, and gained 6 pounds, then lost 8. I do not recommend candy binges to lose weight, but im glad the scale moved. I was getting very annoyed because I had lost 2 sizes without the scale budging a pound.
Leaving on vacation soon! :-)
I have a few posts brewing in my head, im working on them.

Thank you so much for your blog. I just read it - the whole thing - from beginning to end. I'm going to be having a VSG at the end of January and was wondering what to expect. Now I can see VSG is probably going to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I can hardly wait! Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Hey, I'm a 27 year old male from the UK and I'm having a VSG in April 2009. Can I ask - how many cc did your stomach get reduced by? My surgeon is estimating I'll be left with 100-150 cc, and some blogs I've read have had much smaller. I think you look AMAZING in your pics, and congrats on your loss so far... Your blog was inspirational to read, so thank you... x

a 32 bougie leaves a stomach with about 60-80 cc. however, I never actually measured mine, and it is highly dependent on your surgeon and the bougie size.
